On Sept 1st, several adjustments to Ferry rules and fares will go into effect. Click here for more information

Flammable Liquids in portable containers, such as gasoline cans, are not allowed onboard. Ferry passengers who attempt to bring hazardous materials aboard the ferry will be required to properly dispose of them prior to boarding. Pierce County Ferry will no longer store gas cans for passengers. More information can be found at www.piercecountywa.gov/5612/Safety-Regulations

Youth fares (6-18) will be reduced to $2.70, ID may be required for older teens. Requests for refunds of youth tickets purchased at the old rate must be submitted by September 10th. That can be done in person at the Steilacoom terminal or online. Visit www.pierceferrytickets.com/customer-service/refund-form/

Oversized vehicles (width reduced from over 11’ to over 8 1/2’, over 80’ long, 14’ high or 105,000 lbs.) require advance scheduling by calling 253-588-1950. Vehicles wider than 8 ½’ will be charged a double fare.
